Role and Responsibilities:
● Manage and appropriately escalate delivery impediments, risks, issues and changes
associated with the product development initiatives
● Assign and monitor work of technical personnel ensuring that development and deployment
is done in the best possible way
● Oversee quality control and review systems throughout the development and deployment
● Display technical leadership and oversight of implementation and deployment planning,
systems integration, ongoing data validation processes, quality assurance, delivery,
operations and sustainability of technical solutions
● Provide technical direction and act as an escalation point for technical and non-technical
issues that may span the teams
● Prioritise workload as needed across teams, keeping in mind geographical time zones
● Establish operationally efficient processes and procedures
● Define and maintain a clear roadmap for operational excellence of the delivery cycle
● Execute and maintain internal and external SLA’s developed in collaboration with the
● Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures and training plans for all resources
● Ensure robust backup and recovery solutions are in place
● Exercise broadly delegated authority for planning, directing, coordinating, administering and
executing both routine and complex technical elements of operations
● Manage ITIL processes for delivery into production environments

● Be an advocate for security and performance standards across product development and
● Support recruitment activities for selection of team members and ensure a low turnover
amongst resources
● Identify technical and process improvement opportunities and create an environment for
● Maintain accurate program estimates, timelines, project plans and status reports
● Possess expert technical understanding of the intersection of development and operations
(DevOps), monitoring and management tools and deployment processes and tools
● Possess, at a high level, understanding in the areas of web application programming, content
management systems, API’s, databases and system design
● Resolve conflict by demonstrating leadership and appropriate decision making competencies
Key Skills and Experience:
● Possess excellent verbal and written (English) communication skills – Essential
● Have the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of developers, product
owners and subject matter experts.
● Several years’ experience as DevOps or infrastructure Lead / Manager
● A demonstrable understanding of DevOps and technical quality control processes, artefacts
and tools
● Deep understanding of Linux internals and experience across open source technology
● Experience working in Agile/Scrum/Kanban environments
● Experience across tech stacks like Golang, Ruby, Perl, Ansible, puppet, docker, GitHub,
Cassandra, Elasticsearch, etc.
● A track record developing skills with other team members
● An ability to drive to big picture goals and milestones whilst valuing and maintaining a strong
attention to detail
● An ability to quickly identify and drive to the optimal solution when presented with a series
of constraints
● Demonstrable experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management,
change management and project management
● Excellent judgement, analytical thinking, and proactive problem-solving skills
● Experience of working with quality management approaches, techniques and principles
● A full understanding of the SDLC and best practices
● Exposure to a variety of tools to orchestrate solutions and/or build independent tools and
● Ability and experience in writing scripts and automation code
● A self-starter who possesses excellent time management and organisation skills
● Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, relation building skills and the ability to achieve
results on an independent level
● Strong sense of personal responsibility and accountability for delivering high quality work
both personally and at team level
● Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks
seamlessly with excellent attention to detail

We offer the following for this Position:
Net Monthly Salary : A most competitive salary
National insurance : IKA
Night/Shift working allw.(If appl.) : As per government guidelines included as part of salary

Annual Leave : 20 days a year
Public Holidays : 12 days per year
Working hours : 40 hours per week as per monthly rota
