Role and Responsibilities:
– Help ensure availability and reliability of existing systems as well as the Agile deployment of
changes and updates
– Be the technical point of escalation for user incidents and provide on-call support within a
high availability production environment
● Working with an environment where taking ownership of a problem is key including
○ Logging issues
○ Escalating complex problems
○ Supporting team members
● Help users with workarounds/solutions to their problems by:
○ Logging bugs
○ Escalating complex user problems
○ Ensuring core infrastructure components, databases, messaging bus, servers,
storage, etc. are functioning at optimum level
○ Ensuring system updates and patches
○ Ensuring log capture
○ Identifying, reporting and rectifying security issues
○ Applying industry standard practices across IT organisation
○ Addressing any other issues as applicable
– Maintain, monitor and support devops functions
– Ensure system monitoring and product support across US, EMEA and Australian time zones
– Collaborating within geographically distributed teams
– Supporting customers IT services
– Supporting and improving software development infrastructure by continuous integration
and delivery standards
– Working closely with developers and QA teams as part of a customer support centre
– Consult on and manage infrastructure configuration issues, OS performance optimisation,
network bottlenecks, storage configuration, etc.

– Must be willing to work in shifts and as per rotas allocated across geographical time zones
(US, Australia)
Key Skills and Experience:
– 4 years or more of relevant hand on system administration experience in an Open Source
– Understand and have strong work experience in version control systems (git, svn)
– Experience in build and CI tools
– Skilled in scripting and general purpose languages (Golang, Ruby, Perl, Bash, etc)
– Hands-on experience in devops tools (ansible, puppet,etc)
– Exposure to one or more of the following: Cassandra, redis, elasticsearch, kibana, Logstash,
Grafana etc.
– Experience in GitHub and circleci an adavantage
– Some database administration experience (relational, NoSQL)
● Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks
seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
● Expert level written and verbal communication skills in ENGLISH is essential
● Demonstrable proactive approach to problem-solving
● Emotional maturity and sensitivity
● Highly resourceful Agile team-player, with the ability to be extremely effective
● Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various
competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and

We offer the following for this Position:
Net Monthly Salary : A most competitive salary
